“Never write if you can speak; never speak if you can nod; never nod if you can wink.” ~ Martin Lomasney, Mass. State Senator and Boston ward boss (late 1800s/early 1900s)   HN NOTES & MULLINGS ON THE MATTER: The following is an “HN Video Report.” If you watch and listen carefully, it contains everything currently known about the single-vehicle crash on Independence Drive last evening at around 6:30 p.m. The point of having a “video report” is that it saves me from writing unnecessary copy, while driving viewers to HN’s YouTube channel. The revenue earned from YouTube traffic helps pay for gas, camera batteries, and dog biscuits. And for those who kindly take the time to watch HN’s video reports, please know “Arya the News Mutt” and I are eternally grateful. We work hard during these overnights and aim to deliver quality reports. For those who do not take the time to watch our video reports, we wish would – especially those who take it upon themselves to make social media comments without first reading or watching what was actually published. Honestly, unless constructive, I can’t stand social media comments.  They have nothing to do with our work and I would do away with them completely if it wasn’t for the fact a good number of people enjoy spending their days picking online fights with one another… (“to each his own…”) … and I find at least a little consolation they are wasting their energy fighting each other online instead of on the streets of Hyannis. But seriously – and with all due respect – at least watch the videos before shooting your mouths off and picking fights!  (Besides, there may be a pop quiz later!)  We thank those who read and watch Hyannis News.  You’re the best!  You keep us on the road, and we love you more than you’ll ever know… … and please be safe out there, while watching out for those deadly lead-footed, distracted miscreants that plague our roadways! (Also, if you haven’t already done so, please be sure to SUBSCRIBE to the HyannisNews.com YouTube channel. By SUBSCRIBING for FREE, one can choose to be notified regarding new HN content the moment it is posted!)
