YARMOUTH, MASSACHUSETTS – [HN VIDEO NOTES] –  Firefighters used the jaws of life and other extrication tools in order to successfully free a man from a single-vehicle, rollover crash earlier today. Yarmouth firefighters and police officers responded to Forest Road after a pickup apparently left the roadway and struck a tree before rolling onto its side. The roadway needed to be completely closed down between Winslow Grey Road and Truman Lane for a period of time while firefighters stabilized the vehicle in order to remove its roof. The male patient was eventually transported to Cape Cod Hospital with injuries that were initially described as being “priority three.” The Yarmouth Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash. The investigation continued at Cape Cod Hospital and according to police sources, criminal charges are pending… No further details available at this time.  The following HN video highlights the scene and extrication.
