WEST YARMOUTH, MASSACHUSETTS –  Fire broke out inside a single-family home at 9 Gill Ave in West Yarmouth Christmas evening… The following HN Video begins with two dogs who were evacuated and not harmed in the fire. The video then covers a post-fire interview with Chief Enrique Arrascue of the Yarmouth Fire Department.  The footage then switches to earlier firefighting efforts.  The time of the fire was around 10:45 p.m. last evening. Three people (including a woman in her mid-70s) were evaluated for smoke inhalation. Two occupants will be displaced. Two others on the property will possibly be able to stay in a camper. The Red Cross was called to the scene to assist the occupants.  There were no firefighters injured.  Crews from surrounding towns assisted on scene and by covering Yarmouth Fire Stations.  The Yarmouth Fire Department is investigating the cause of the fire… The following HN Video Report contains additional details… [HN VIDEO –  PRESS PLAY]
