        CENTERVILLE, MASSACHUSETTS – [HN PHOTO NOTES] – It was a tough break Christmas morning for residents on Huckins Neck Road after a pickup truck slammed into a utility pole and knocked out power. Shortly before 1:00 a.m., Barnstable Police patrol officers and Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills firefighters responded to the vicinity of Huckins Neck Road and Cottonwood Lane after residents heard a loud crash. The single-vehicle crash snapped a utility pole and brought down power lines. Police immediately notified the power company, hoping repairs could be made as soon as possible. The driver of the pickup truck refused treatment after being evaluated by EMTs. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Barnstable Police Department.
