WEST BARNSTABLE, MASSACHUSETTS – [HN Photo Notes] – Police and firefighters responded to a three-vehicle crash this morning at the intersection of Oak Street and the Service Road. The crash happened around 9:15 a.m. According to radio transmissions, a woman was initially trapped inside one of the vehicles. A total of three patients were evaluated for possible injuries and, according to radio transmissions, EMTs collected a total of three “refusals.” A member of the Sheriff’s Crime Scene Unit responded for photographs. A patrolwoman took statements from operators and witnesses. The Barnstable Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash. Morning traffic was temporarily re-routed and/or slowed while first responders worked the scene.
