A few months ago, I went to Marconi Beach well before sunrise. I took a few shots of the stairs leading down to the beach as it was the most visible to me under the moonlight. I liked the way the rigidity of the structure opened up to the mystery of the evening sky. (Since the time of this visit a storm has taken out the stairway) I also took some shots of the clouds which were illuminated by the moon. Presenting these in black and white seems to capture the mood of the experience.
