MASHPEE, MASSACHUSETTS – [HN VIDEO NOTES] – [DEVELOPING] –  At around 2:00 a.m. this morning, Mashpee and Falmouth police officers responded to help a stabbing victim in a Mercedes pulled over at the Mashpee/Falmouth town line on Rte. 28. The victim (an individual in their mid-20s) had been stabbed in the back and ended up being transported to Falmouth Hospital in unknown condition. (Medflight was not flying due to weather…) As you’ll see in the following HN Video, once the patient had been transported, Mashpee and Falmouth police officers began to focus on an apparent crime scene at “The Lake” – A.K.A. “Attiquin Park,” located at 40 Lake Ave in the center of Mashpee. Officers collected evidence in brown paper evidence bags. The video shows officers collecting an article of clothing in one bag, and what appears to be a knife another bag. A member of the Sheriff’s Crime Scene Unit assisted with photos. The following HN Video contains footage of the scene where the Mercedes pulled over (the ambulance and patient had just been transported). It then shows officers investigating at “The Lake.” It also contains Mashpee Police radio transmissions… [DEVELOPING] [HN VIDEO – PRESS PLAY] P.S. – Today’s Hytown Vignette is a brought to you by Lou Reed…  [CLICK IT/CRANK IT!
