HYANNIS, MASSACHUSETTS – [HN VIDEO NOTES] – [DEVELOPING] –  A Hyannis News camera was rolling when an 18-year-old was arrested earlier this evening for allegedly being in possession of a Yamaha motorcycle reported stolen out of Worcester. At around 8:00 p.m., Wednesday evening, Barnstable Police recognized a motorcycle that had just pulled into the parking lot at the corner of Main Street and High School Road. The motorcycle is suspected of recently failing to stop for police and driving recklessly. According to sources on scene, the male driver wasn’t providing correct information regarding his identity. Officers dug deeper and ran the motorcycle’s vehicle identification number (VIN), learning that the motorcycle had been reported stolen out of Worcester. The 18-year-old was transported back to BPD Headquarters where he is reportedly being charged with Receiving a Stolen Motor Vehicle, along with other charges.
