HARWICH, MASSACHUSETTS – [HN PHOTO NOTES] – A state trooper and Harwich Firefighters responded to a rollover crash up an embankment and into the woods on Route 6 early this morning (in the vicinity of mile marker 83). Firefighters arrived on scene around 3:40 a.m. and found the female driver (the sole occupant) already extricated from the wreckage. EMTs inquired about the availability of MedFlight due to the violent force of the crash. MedFlight was not flying due to weather conditions. There were intermittent rains at the time. Sources and observations on scene indicated that the woman’s injuries were not believed to be life-threatening… but she definitely needed “to be seen.” She was transported to Cape Cod Hospital in a Harwich FD ambulance. The Massachusetts State Police is investigating the cause of the crash, which continued at Cape Cod Hospital… P.S. – Today’s Hytown Vignette is a brought to you by Jimmy Smith…  [CLICK IT/CRANK IT!
