HN PHOTO NOTES: Barnstable Police responded to a Hyannis condo complex early Wednesday morning after one of the residents backed a pickup truck into the building’s patio fencing. Police had received a call that the pickup truck operator might be trying to drive away while possibly intoxicated. The first officer on scene discovered the crash but did not observe anyone operating the pickup truck. A Portuguese speaking officer responded to help translate while a member of the Sheriff’s Crime Scene Unit took photos. The BPD is investigating the cause of the crash…     Police stop disoriented visitors from Ontario driving the wrong way down Main Street, Hyannis… as “tourist season” fast approaches…  (brace yourselves!)   Tuesday evening: Yarmouth Police officers responded to the area of Station Ave and Captain Small Road for a young man saying he had just been blinded with pepper spray during some type of altercation. The pepper spray victim reportedly pulled a knife in self-defense, according to radio transmissions. His attacker(s) apparently had fled. Rescue arrived and eventually transported the young man to Cape Cod Hospital. Officers were unable to get the victim to cooperate regarding the identity of his attacker(s), according to radio transmissions. He was only interested in being treated for the pepper spray exposure.   Yarmouth Police officers pulled over a pickup truck allegedly involved in an attempted shoplifting at a CVS in their town last evening. The passenger had a history of run-ins with the law, including a previous charge of armed robbery a number of years ago. The investigation was ongoing, and no arrests had been made at the time of this report.   RECENT CRIMINAL MALARKY: MOTORCYCLIST POPS WHEELIE DRIVING PAST COP… FLEES… CRASHES… ARRESTED, REPORT SAYS       RECENT HN BONUS IMAGE While Picasso is known for his “Blue Period…” someday, HN might be known for its “Blue-Sky Period!” lol   MEAN OLD DADDIES UNITE!
