Police had received a call that the pickup truck operator might be trying to drive away while possibly intoxicated. The first officer on scene discovered the crash but did not observe anyone operating the pickup truck. A Portuguese speaking officer responded to help translate while a member of the Sheriff’s Crime Scene Unit took photos. Officers were unable to get the victim to cooperate regarding the identity of his attacker(s), according to radio transmissions. He was only interested in being treated for the pepper spray exposure.   Yarmouth Police officers pulled over a pickup truck allegedly involved in an attempted shoplifting at a CVS in their town last evening.
