OFFICIALS INVESTIGATE MIDDAY SINGLE-VEHICLE CRASH [HN PHOTOS]

  HYANNIS, MASSACHUSETTS –  [HN PHOTO NOTES]  –  Barnstable Police and Hyannis Firefighters responded to Yarmouth Road just north of Route 28 after a vehicle crashed into a traffic impact attenuator which prevents vehicles from slamming into one of the Jersey Barriers that are part of the ongoing (annoying and seemingly eternal) intersection improvements.  The driver was transported to Cape Cod Hospital for evaluation.  The investigating Barnstable Police officer also responded to the emergency room after requesting an accident number, along with an arrest number… The Barnstable County Sheriff’s Crime Scene Investigation Unit assisted on scene with photos.
