HARWICH, Massachusetts –  A 53-year-old woman was airlifted to an off-Cape trauma center after suffering a possible skull fracture during a single vehicle crash in Harwich last evening, according to radio transmissions. At around 7:22 p.m., Harwich police and firefighters responded to Queen Anne Road at Main Street for a car vs. utility pole.  The sole occupant of the vehicle was entrapped.  The pole was snapped.  Once extricated, the woman was transported to the Cape Cod Gateway Airport in a Harwich FD ambulance.  As you will hear in the following HN Video, the patient was flown to Tufts Medical Center.  The HPD is investigating the cause of the crash.
