By Columnist -TRB - According to the unauthorized book on the subject of bin Laden the Boogie Man's untimely death,  the Navy Seals are on the first floor getting ready to climb the stairs, weapons at the ready, when suddenly bin Laden, like some cheap carnival hit-me head pops out of the side of a door upstairs. A Navy Seal fires a bullet right into his face (or maybe his forehead. I guess you had to be there.) For his part bin Laden staggers back into his bedroom and the loving arms of his girlfriends, who are already thinking about their next gig and hoping it will be easier than this.

You can imagine all the commotion. The Seals had just crashed one of their top secret helicopters out by where Osama's girls hung his clothes to dry and it looked like they would all have to leave on one chopper. The Seals had to search the compound, had to take photos of the decidedly dead bin Laden and prepare to take him with them so they could destroy/hide his body later. They were in Pakistan without permission of the Pakistani government.

But it all worked out.

This is how 9/11 ended.

Yes, 9/11 ended with the chief conspirator living in a huge luxury compound not far from the main government buildings in Pakistan. It was clear they knew where this "most wanted" man was. But were they going to tell the U.S.? Not likely. But Pakistan is a U.S ally. Their military is largely supported by U.S. tax dollars. It still is. Of course 9/11 began with 19 citizens of still another U.S. ally - Saudi Arabia - hijacking U.S. commercial aircraft and a flying them into the World Trade Center, among other places.

Friends of the U.S. governement committed the initial crime. Then other friends of the U.S. government assisted the chief perpetrator in hiding out. In fact, ally Pakistan even refused to allow the Seals to have their top secret helicopter back right away. It seems they wanted to allow China time to inspect it and take photographs.

Now the U.S. has soldiers in Afghanistan who they are helping to train for combat against their enemies. The problem is they don't want the U.S. to train them well enough to kill their enemies, just well enough to kill their U.S. trainers. And they have killed over 40 of them so far.

It seems the U.S. will do anything, put up with any humiliation, believe any half-truth, exaggeration or lie - and rumors too - to prolong its presence in the Middle East and that part of the world. The part with the Israelis and the oil. Four billion in military assistance a year to the Israelis so their grumpy leader can publically embarrass the U.S. Commander in Chief for not going to war with Iran, when the U.S. is still committed to training people  who hate the U.S. in Afghanistan (making any sense?) until 2014, and if the truth be known, is not completely out of Iraq. And what about Syria? Should the U.S. sacrifice the lives of some young people over there?

Strange how all of those monsterish leaders the U.S. helped put into power over there turned out to be monsters, in fact to exceed even our own expectations.

In all the Middle East, the only real enemy is the truth.
