The victims were struck by a vehicle on Academy Driver at the entrance to the Massachusetts Maritime Academy in Bourne Massachusetts Friday (05-18-12) morning around 1:30 AM. According to fire officials and emergency broadcast reports, at least two of the victims are students at the school. The other two victims were transported by ambulance to area hospitals. About a half hour after the incident, Bourne and Wareham Police located the alleged hit and run driver and vehicle on Main Street in Buzzards Bay . The driver was given a field sobriety test and was seen in a police vehicle in handcuffs. The vehicle involved in the accident is registered in Rhode Island . There is no word yet on the exact extent of the victims' injuries.
