Walking the flats at low tide in North Truro, you just may come across something that looks like a line of luggage attached to car roof racks abandoned in the sand. At high tide that luggage takes on the look of pontoons floating on the water, which is exactly what they are. The OysterGro system is Canadian-made equipment that basically consists of black plastic pontoons with six cages attached to the bottom that allow fishermen to grow oysters in deep water.
