Rich heritage revealed: Dennis Historical Society’s golden anniversary

At a special Town Meeting in August, 1962, the town of Dennis accepted from Virginia Gildersleeve the donation of a house and land at 90 Old Main St., West Dennis. Known today as the Jericho Historical Center, that acquisition gave birth to the Dennis Historical Society the following year.
