Civil War letters illuminate history

The Historical Society of Old Yarmouth continues its commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War with “As Though You Were There,” dramatic readings of letters to and from Cape Cod and Massachusetts soldiers who served during the war from 1861 to 1865. The program will be held Saturday, Feb. 23 at 2 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 24 at 2 p.m. at the Captain Bangs Hallet House, 11 Strawberry Lane, Yarmouth Port.
