The Wareham Board of Selectmen, acting in its capacity as Sewer Commissioners, approved a sewer permit for the proposed Walmart in West Wareham at the Tuesday, Feb. 12 meeting. The East Wareham location in Cranberry Plaza will be shut down, as that store model is being phased out in favor of a larger “Supercenter” model, which will offer groceries.
