PROVINCETOWN – [NOTES] – HN immediately contacted the overnight Provincetown Police Department dispatcher upon seeing their recent Facebook post about a litter of puppies that was recently turned in to them. HN was connected to the voicemail of PPD’s information officer where I left a message seeking more information about the circumstances surrounding the puppies. HN will update this story with official PPD details as they become available. The following is the actual PPD Facebook post: “The Provincetown Police Department is currently overseeing, along with our partners, the care for a litter of puppies that was turned [in to] us. The six animals are all healthy after having been medically cleared and are currently being fostered in partnership with the Animal Rescue League. Pursuant to pet adoption laws we are trying to locate the possible owners of these pups. If you have any information regarding the owner, please contact the department at (508) 487-1212”   [PPD photos/HN edits] * IMPORTANT HN NOTE: Readers always ask how they can donate to keep our camera’s rolling (and hopefully expand our coverage as well).
