This fall, the Barnstable Harbormaster Division plans to begin a four-year process of realigning the mooring fields in Hyannis and Hyannis Port.“With this re-alignment, we anticipate to gain about 25 to 30 more spots out there,” Derek Lawson, supervisor of the Harbormaster Division, explained at the Sept. 5 Barnstable Town Council meeting.Lawson said the town permitted 2,323 moorings in 2018, with the bulk of them in the Cotuit and Three Bays area, as well as Hyannis and [...]
