Three beaches on the Outer Cape were closed briefly Saturday after confirmed sightings of great white sharks.Head of the Meadow Beach and Coast Guard Beach in Truro were closed for swimming at 1:30 p.m. for an hour, and Head of the Meadow Beach was closed again at 3 p.m. for another hour due to shark sightings, according to a Facebook post from the Truro Recreation Department and the Truro police.A great white was seen by a spotter pilot at Head of the Meadow Beach at 2:46 p.m., [...]
