BARNSTABLE — A 78-year-old Bourne man was arraigned in Barnstable District Court for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and other charges after he allegedly hit another man with his car Monday in Sandwich.According to a Sandwich police report filed with court documents, the victim complained that David E. Garnett drove at him in slow motion when he was at a crosswalk at Kiah’s Way, then reversed onto Mill Road and hit him from behind, knocking him to the ground. [...]
