Eversource is petitioning the Town of Barnstable for permission to remove 76 trees along the Main Street/Route 6A right-of-way in Barnstable Village, prompting a public hearing next month.Specifically, the Old King’s Highway Historic District Committee will hold a public hearing Thursday, July 12, at 6:30 p.m. in the second-floor hearing room of Barnstable Town Hall, 367 Main St., Hyannis.
