Authorities on Wednesday recovered a loaded handgun after it was tossed into a wooded area by a Bourne man involved in an OUI crash, Wareham Police said. The crash occurred at approximately 9:15 p.m. near 23 Onset Ave. Witnesses said one of the drivers left the scene and ran into woods, returning before police arrived.
