HARWICH — A Chatham man was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of drugs after his pickup truck crashed through a fence on Route 28 in Harwich Port on Tuesday, according to a police report.Nicholas Baird, 22, also was charged with negligent operation of a motor vehicle, a marked lanes violation and possession of cocaine, according to Orleans District Court documents. He pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Wednesday and was released on his own recognizance. [...]
