EAST DENNIS — Rescue personnel saved a fisherman in distress this morning at Sea Street Beach.At 9:59 a.m., Dennis lifeguards heard a man crying for help in the water, according to a release from the Dennis Fire Department. The man, who had been surfcasting, did not realize the tide came in behind him and, while returning to the beach, became overcome with exhaustion and ingested ocean water, the release said.The lifeguards got him out of the water, and the Dennis Fire [...]
