FALMOUTH — A Mashpee man pleaded guilty Friday in Falmouth District Court to larceny and two counts of assault, according to court documents.Phillip Hicks Jr., 25, was sentenced to one year in jail for stealing a man’s gold chain and punching a woman in the face Oct. 7 in the parking lot of a convenience store in Mashpee.Hicks grabbed a man and ripped off his gold chain after a disagreement, according to the police report.
