A great white shark was spotted off Nauset Beach in Orleans this morning, according to researchers. The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy, working with Mass. Division of Marine Fisheries researchers, sent out a shark alert on their Sharktivity app. The shark was spotted at about 10:44 a.m. The sighting was made by a spotter plane but the ocean predator wasn’t seen from shore, so swimmers weren’t forced out of the water, according to a Nauset [...]
