SOUTH YARMOUTH — A fatal crash involving two vehicles shut down one lane of Route 6 westbound near Exit 8 in South Yarmouth shortly before 9:30 p.m. Monday, according to state police.One person was confirmed dead, and a request for a MedFlight was called off.State police and Yarmouth police and fire departments were at the scene just west of the West Yarmouth Road overpass and could be seen examining a BMW SUV by the side of the road.-  [...]
